How Long Will It Take?

At your first appointment in our office, we go over product education, areas of treatment, and evaluation of your concerns. This typically takes 30 minutes, even if you have had Sculptra done at another office. After your first visit, Sculptra appointments generally take 15 minutes.
Each injection is administered through tiny needles. To reduce discomfort, we apply ice before treatment to help distract from the poke of the needle and reduce the risk of bruising. We mix Sculptra with lidocaine to ease the injections.
With the appropriate injection technique, Sculptra is safe and effective.
Sculptra can cause swelling, minor bruising, and some post-injection redness. In rare instances, Sculptra can cause a small, non-visible, and painless bump at the injection site.
Results are not immediate; however, most patients experience swelling, making the injection area appear larger. Some patients see results as early as 4-6 weeks after the first treatment. Those with significant volume loss will see results after multiple treatments.
Anyone with an auto-immune disorder is not eligible for Sculptra treatment.
Sculptra cannot be dissolved but will naturally break down over time.
