What Our Founder Says

Dermal fillers are a versatile treatment used to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. These injectable substances work by replenishing lost volume and stimulating collagen production, leading to more youthful, natural-looking results. Fillers can address various concerns, such as facial folds, hollow areas under the eyes, and lip volume loss. The choice of filler and technique used depends on the patient’s anatomy and desired outcome. As with any injectable procedure, a detailed consultation is essential to ensure safety, optimal outcomes, and a personalized treatment plan tailored to each individual.

VIBRANT, YOUTHFUL, YOU:

See How Dermal Fillers Can Improve Your Look

As we age, we lose volume in all areas of the face. Dermal fillers can instantly restore volume and fullness to the skin, correcting facial wrinkles and enhancing the lips, leaving the face looking smooth, youthful, and utterly irresistible. A combination of fillers can be used to treat virtually every body area. Common areas for filler placement include folds around the nose and mouth, frown lines, under the eyes, chin, lip lines, lip enhancement, frown lines, and cheeks.

After treatment, most patients can resume their regular activities. Sometimes, the injected area can have redness, mild swelling, and mild bruising. Learn about the cannula method for injecting dermal fillers, and make sure you check out our list of collagen volume loss treatments.

Types of Filler

Volbella

Juvéderm’s Volbella is the thinnest filler from Allergan. It is typically used in the lips, lip lines, under the eyes, and between the brows. Volbella, like Vollure and Voluma, has VYCROSS™ technology, which uses an innovative combination of low and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid to improve the cross-linking efficiency of hyaluronic acid chains. This technology allows the filler to appear much smoother and more natural-looking. Average longevity is 9-12 months.

Vollure

Juvéderm’s Vollure is a medium-thickness filler from Allergan. It is typically used in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and lips, among other areas. Vollure, like Volbella and Voluma, has VYCROSS™ technology which offers reduced swelling, increased smoothness and enhanced duration. Vollure’s average longevity is 9-12 months.

Voluma

Juvéderm Voluma is one of the thickest fillers from Allergan. It is typically used to replace volume in the cheeks, giving the face an overall lift. Voluma can also be used in the jawline, chin, and other areas of the face. Voluma, like Volbella and Vollure, has VYCROSS™ technology. The average longevity is 12 months.

Volux

Juvéderm Volux is the thickest filler from Allergan. It is typically used to replace volume in the jawline and chin. This can create a “chiseled” jawline appearance and help fix a recessed chin. Volux, like Voluma, Volbella, and Vollure, have VYCROSS™ technology. The average longevity of Volux is 18-24 months.

Traditional Juvéderm is another filler from Allergan, made with hyaluronic acid. It is typically used for the nasolabial folds, lips, and marionette lines. Its average longevity is six months.

PRP Slurry

“PRP Slurry” is when we mix a dermal filler with your own platelet-rich plasma, also known as “PRP”. This unique combination allows the PRP to stimulate collagen production and improve skin quality. At the same time, the filler adds instant volume to the treated area. PRP contains potent growth factors unique to your body that will allow the tissues to heal themselves, restoring collagen and reversing the signs of aging.
