What our founder says:
"Botox is one of the oldest and must trusted neuromodulators that helps to relax muscles and soften the wrinkles that follow from excessive movement. Botox can lift the upper face by softening the muscles that are tugging down. It has uses throughout the upper and lower face, with special case uses to help manage pain and sweating. All doses and placement can be adjusted to maintain a patients individuality."

Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA-xnwh) is a neuromodulator, sometimes called a “botox alternative”, that temporarily reduces muscle activity to soften dynamic wrinkles. With accurate placement, Jeuveau relaxes targeted muscles, smoothing lines and allowing the overlying skin to rest, without freezing your expression.
It’s FDA-approved for the treatment of glabellar lines (the “frown lines” between the eyebrows) in adults. Many practitioners also use it off-label in areas like the forehead, crow’s feet, and elsewhere, based on individual anatomy and goals.
Jeuveau and Botox are both neuromodulators that use botulinum toxin type A to relax facial muscles and smooth expression lines, but they differ in their specific formulations. Botox is made with onabotulinumtoxinA, while Jeuveau uses prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs, a slightly different strain or complex of the toxin. Although these formulations produce similar clinical outcomes in reducing wrinkles, Jeuveau is often referred to as the “modern” or “new-generation” neurotoxin, as it was developed using a more contemporary manufacturing process specifically for aesthetic use. This has led some patients and providers to note subtle differences in onset or feel, though both products remain effective and widely trusted for achieving smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
Jeuveau is generally suitable for adults who wish to soften moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles. Ideal candidates:
A consultation is required to review your medical history, goals, and determine whether Jeuveau is appropriate for you.
While Jeuveau is primarily used for cosmetic smoothing, some practices and clinicians explore off-label applications. Potential additional uses (administered thoughtfully and selectively) include:
Note: Off-label use should be discussed in consultation, with full disclosure of risks and benefits.
The procedure is typically comfortable, and many patients describe only mild stinging or pressure.
Some softening is visible within 2–4 days; full results typically at ~14 days.
Most patients maintain results for about 3 to 4 months before retreatment is needed.
When administered by qualified professionals, Jeuveau is considered safe. Common side effects include mild bruising, swelling, headache, or temporary droop, these are typically transient.
Yes. Jeuveau works well in combination with dermal fillers, skin resurfacing, lasers, microneedling, and other aesthetic services to achieve a more holistic rejuvenation.
Many practices offer both options and may alternate or choose based on patient response, pricing, or provider preference. We’ll help guide what’s best for your needs.
Over time, the muscles gradually return to baseline. Wrinkle appearance will revert, not worsen beyond baseline.
