How Long Will the Procedure Take?

At your first appointment in our office, we go over education on the products, areas of treatment, and evaluation of your concerns. This typically takes 30 minutes, even if you have had dermal fillers done at another office. After your first visit, follow-up appointments are typically a quick 15 minutes.
The amount of syringes will vary patient to patient and will depend on the area being treated and the amount of volume loss in the area. Every treatment is personalized and unique, so a consultation is required to determine your customized care plan. The different types of fillers that need to be used will also be determined at this appointment.
Each injection is administered through tiny needles. All of our fillers are mixed with lidocaine to minimize discomfort.
With appropriate injection technique, dermal fillers are FDA-approved, safe and effective.
The most common side effects are temporary bruising and swelling at the injection site. Some patients experience minor lumps, which will subside over time. Please also check the guidelines to follow after getting dermal filler treatment.
Results are immediate; however, it will take two weeks for all underlying swelling to settle down to see the full results of the filler.

The filler will dissolve over time, and the skin will resume the normal aging process.

 
Fillers like Juvéderm, Volbella, Vollure, Voluma, and Volux are made of hyaluronic acid and can be dissolved.
The best filler for your needs can only be determined during a complimentary consultation. Each face is unique—what works for someone else may not work for you. During our consultation, we will evaluate the face from multiple angles to determine the most optimal approach for your needs and goals.
Fillers can be placed at different depths of the skin. Thicker fillers are more commonly used deeper into the dermis, and thinner fillers are positioned closer to the skin’s surface. The depth at which a filler is placed is determined by the provider.
