IPL Photorejuvenation Post-Care Guidelines
Please follow these instructions after your IPL or Q Switched treatment. If you have any questions, please call our office at 610-518-7546.
- You may experience mild redness with swelling and possible bruising.
- Immediately inform the doctor if you feel any residual tingling post-treatment.
- You may apply OTC hydrocortisone to the treated area if redness occurs.
- If you have any open skin areas or dry areas please use Aquaphor to keep the area moist.
- You should not pick or scratch the treated areas.
- You should use sunscreen SPF 30 or greater daily.
- Keep sun exposure minimal to nil for the first week.
