PRP, PRF, & EZGEL Post-Care Guidelines
POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLATELET RICH PLASMA, PLATELET RICH FIBRIN, and EZ-GEL PRF
* The area will take time to heal as directed at the time of your consultation. Usually 2-3 days.
* No make up for at least 8 hours post treatment.
* Wash the treated area with a gentle cleanser as needed.
* No vigorous massage such as using a Clarisonic Brush or getting a facial for 48 hours
* If instructed, massage the areas for 30 seconds, 3 times a day, for the next 3 days.
*No exercise for 24 hours if instructed by your provider
* You may use your regular creams and moisturizers except for exfoliating or acidic creams starting in 24 hours.
* Do not use Retin A or glycolic acid for one week after the procedure.
* Only use Tylenol for pain control for any reason in the next 48 hours.
* Lytera may be used to enhance the brightening results of the PRP treatment.
* HA5 may be used to hydrate and plump the skin after the treatment and is a good base to use for the facial massage.
* The physician on call should be called immediately with any concerns 610-819-5130.
